Need a Director?

Your idea has momentum. It’s been plotted out carefully and characters are developed fully. You’ve already shared your work with script writers and they’ve FINALLY gotten it back to you. It’s READY.

Now you need to bring it to life. You need a director. The person who will bring that vision you’ve see building in your mind and all the details you’ve written down on paper to actual visual fruition.

Your carefully selected director is the person who lays out the frame work for “how” this film will be captured. There is intent behind every shot taken, every camera movement is planned with purpose to add tension to a seen, to highlight the loneliness hour of the main character, or to add confusion/chaos to a BIG story reveal . . .

As a director, James wants to know every little social influence, every little nuance, every little cork of each character. He will review your script with complete intrigue and interest, as he’s already visualizing the best sequence for setting each scene, the way in which he wants to capture the characters to reflect their personalities before the dialog even starts, and determining the best use of close up shots to intensify emotions or specific points of view.

A seemingly small nuance in the story may be glossed over, however a skilled director will plan to shot can add the most impact and captivation to the audience and it’s truly the small things in film making that makes the great films. Keep this in mind when selecting your director.

This is the person that brings it all together. Completely developing the filming plan, timeline and working with the budget to make the best film possible. An established producer is connected and has key professionals that they work with all the time.
